Here are more examples of the sort of enhancements that can be made to digital photos, or film photos that have been scanned and become digital, and indications of probable cost.

(Please bear in mind that these are all low resolution images suitable for the web. Printed photos would be sharper than these.)

 

Colourized Photo

Here is a photo that was carefully
coloured when it was first made.
It is worth putting in some effort
to get it back to its original condition.

There is always a danger of

over-restoring and losing the sense
of period in a photo.
