Photo Restoration - more examples.

 

 Here is a fine military figure
in a very poor state - being held 
together by sellotape ! We were 
able to restore him to a state

his regiment would be proud of .

This restoration cost £60.

 
 This photo had originally
been colourised by hand. 
It was worth taking the trouble 
to reproduce that effect.


The restoration cost was £30.
 


 

Here is a photo in which most
of the colour had faded away.  
But the fading was fairly even.

This restoration cost £15
 

 



 There is always a danger of
over-restoring and losing the sense
of period in a photo.

Here the important thing for the customer
was to get the facial features clear.

Here is another example of a faded
 photo without too much damage.
Cropping was wanted plus a variety of
technical steps to increase clarity.

The cost of a restoring a photo
with cracks or scratches depends
very much on where the damage is. 
Luckily the damage was not to the face.

This restoration cost £25
